Ingredients:
- 1 (1-1/2 pound) salmon fillet, skin on
- 1/4 cup butter, softened
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh dill
- 1 tablespoon lemon zest
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, combine butter, dill, lemon zest, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Place salmon skin-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Spread the lemon herb butter mixture over the top of the salmon.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through.
- Remove from oven and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Tips:
- Serve the salmon with a side of roasted vegetables or a salad.
- For a more flavorful salmon, marinate it in lemon juice and herbs for 30 minutes before baking.
- If you don’t have fresh dill, you can use 1 teaspoon dried dill.
Enjoy!
