Ingredients:
- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup dry white wine
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Season the shrimp with salt and pepper.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add the 1 shrimp and cook until pink and opaque, about 3 minutes. Â
- Add the white wine, lemon juice, and butter.
- Cook until the sauce has thickened, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in the parsley.
- Serve immediately over pasta or rice.
Tips:
- Use a dry white wine that you would also enjoy drinking.
- Add a pinch of red pepper flakes for a little spice.
- Serve with crusty bread for dipping in the sauce.
