Let’s indulge in Flavor-Packed Cajun Shrimp & Sausage Sheet Pan Meal that’s quick and easy to prepare with bold flavors!

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 1 lb smoked sausage (cut into 1-inch pieces, such as Andouille sausage)
  • 1 red bell pepper (sliced)
  • 1 yellow bell pepper (sliced)
  • 1 zucchini (sliced into half-moons)
  • 1 medium red onion (sliced)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (optional, for extra heat)
  • Salt and black pepper (to taste)
  • Lemon wedges (for serving)
  • Fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 400ยฐF (200ยฐC). Line a large sheet pan with parchment paper or aluminum foil for easy cleanup.
  2. Season the shrimp and sausage: In a bowl, toss the shrimp and sausage pieces with 1 tbsp olive oil, 1 tsp Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and a pinch of salt and black pepper. Set aside to marinate while you prep the veggies.
  3. Prepare the veggies: In another bowl, toss the bell peppers, zucchini, and red onion with the remaining 1 tbsp olive oil and 1 tsp Cajun seasoning. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Assemble on the sheet pan: Spread the sausage and shrimp evenly on one side of the sheet pan. Arrange the seasoned vegetables on the other side of the pan, making sure everything is in an even layer.
  5. Bake: Place the sheet pan in the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the shrimp are pink and cooked through, and the sausage is lightly browned. If you prefer a bit of crispy caramelization, you can broil for an additional 2-3 minutes at the end of cooking.
  6. Serve: Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the shrimp and sausage, garnish with chopped parsley, and serve with extra lemon wedges on the side.

Tips:

  • For added flavor, serve with a side of rice or crusty bread to soak up the juices.
  • Feel free to adjust the heat level by adding more or less cayenne pepper, or using a milder Cajun seasoning.

Enjoy this bold and tasty mealโ€”perfect for a busy weeknight or weekend dinner!
