Creamy Garlic Parmesan Tortellini with Chicken & Broccoli

Ingredients:
12 oz cheese tortellini (fresh or frozen)
2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
2 tablespoons olive oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup chicken broth
1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
2 cups broccoli florets (steamed or cooked)
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
Cook the Tortellini: Follow the package instructions to cook the tortellini. Drain and set aside.
Cook the Chicken: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken pieces, seasoning with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Cook for 6-8 minutes, until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
Sauté the Garlic: In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
Prepare the Sauce: Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine. Bring to a gentle simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly.
Add Parmesan: Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese, mixing until the sauce becomes smooth and creamy.
Combine Everything: Add the cooked tortellini, chicken, and broccoli to the skillet. Toss to coat everything evenly in the creamy garlic Parmesan sauce.
Serve: Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
