- 1 cup dried chili flakes
- 4 tbsp light soy sauce
- 1 1/2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 cup vegetable oil, hot
Instructions:
1. Combine ingredients:
In a heatproof bowl, combine the dried garlic, dried onion, chili flakes, light soy sauce, sugar, and salt.
2. Heat vegetable oil:
Heat it in a small saucepan until it’s hot but not smoking.
3. Pour hot oil over the mixture:
Carefully pour the hot oil over the dry ingredients. Be cautious as it may splatter.
4. Stir:
Stir the mixture well to combine all the ingredients.
5. Cool and store:
Allow the mixture to cool to room temperature. Once cooled, transfer it to a glass jar or airtight container.
6. Store:
Store the chili garlic sauce in the refrigerator for up to a month.

Use the chili garlic sauce as a condiment or seasoning for your favorite dishes. Adjust the amount of chili flakes according to your desired level of spiciness.
