Instructions

Step 1: Preheat the Oven & Prepare the Pan

  1. Preheat your oven to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC).
  2. Lightly grease a mini muffin tin or a cake pop mold for even-sized poppers.

Step 2: Mix the Batter

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix the buttermilk, melted butter, honey, egg, and vanilla extract.
  3. Gradually pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined. Avoid overmixing.

Step 3: Bake the Poppers
