Triple Chocolate Brownies Recipe

Ingredients
For the Brownies:
- 1 cup (226g) unsalted butter
- 8 oz (225g) dark chocolate, chopped
- 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup (100g) brown sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup (95g) all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup (30g) unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 cup (85g) milk chocolate chunks
- 1/2 cup (85g) white chocolate chunks
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Oven & Pan
- Preheat your oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC).
- Line an 8×8-inch (20×20 cm) baking pan with parchment paper and lightly grease it.
Step 2: Melt the Chocolate & Butter
- In a heatproof bowl, melt the butter and dark chocolate together using a double boiler or microwave in 30-second intervals. Stir until smooth.
- Allow the mixture to cool slightly.
Step 3: Mix the Batter
- In a large bowl, whisk together the granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla until light and fluffy (about 2 minutes).
- Gradually pour in the melted chocolate mixture and mix until combined.
- Sift in the flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder. Gently fold until just incorporated.
- Stir in the milk and white chocolate chunks.
Step 4: Bake the Brownies
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with moist crumbs (not wet batter).
Step 5: Cool & Serve
- Let the brownies cool completely in the pan before slicing.
