  • 1/2 cup beef broth

For the Cheese Sauce:

  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded provolone or mozzarella cheese (or use Cheez Whiz for a classic touch)

For Serving:

  • 4 hamburger buns or hoagie rolls
  • Butter for toasting buns (optional)

Instructions

  • In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat if needed.
